Education

I am currently attending Colorado State University-Pueblo as an English Major with a Minor in Professional Writing. I anticipate graduation from CSU-P, with a BA in English in May 2011. I am currently in my freshmen year at CSU-P with a GPA of 3.667, but am considered a sophomore because of the advanced placement and college prep course I participated in throughout High School.

Experience

I currently work as a general education writing tutor in the Writing Room at CSU-P and as a Upward Bound tutor at Pueblo Community College. My main motivation for being a tutor is the ability to work around a university class and athletic schedule while working in a feild related to my major.

Hobbies

I will try my best to work with anyone to find a acceptable time for tutoring. I am a player for the Colorado Statue University- Pueblo Tennis team so I have to work around my scheduled practice and match times. I am a devoted tennis player that would also be more then happy to provide tennis lessons to anyone that is interested. Since my area of study is in English and Professional Writing my tutoring skills would be best applied to those who need help in English/composition classes; however, I have some back round in other areas including math, psychology, sociology, and history. I feel I would also be qualified to tutor in these other areas. I am also very interested in tutoring through EMAIL and IM to accommodate clients.
